Dreams

George and lennie's dream was to want to own their own land. Without constantly having to work for someone else, and not having money to save. Lennie really wants rabbits to look after. He loves to pet things that are soft. George, along with new friend Candy, want to have the freedom to do there own work and be treated fairly.

I do defiantly think their dreams are realistic. Its almost like the american dream. It would be horrible to not live anywhere, and to always be on the run. It is defiantly important to have dreams for the future because you want to look forward to something in your life. Let's say if your dream is becoming a professional singer, and you dream of becoming famous, well then you are going to dream about those things. When others doubt those dreams of yours, it puts you down a little bit and makes you feel like your dreams are worthless, and that no one cares about them.

If your dreams go unfulfilled for a long period of time then you even start to doubt what your dreams are because if people don't believe in your dreams, and then your dream doesn't happen for a while, you start to believe it. Say that there is a disease right now that is not curable and it is unrealizable. Well there are a lot of people that dream of one day finding a cure.  It would defiantly be a wonderful thing to find a cure for any of these diseases. Sometimes these dreams aren't realities.
